Some quick tips:

If you find that something has stopped loading, refreshing the page (http://www.crushedmuffin.com/Novel/) will usually fix it.

• New as of 11/11/2007: You will see "Last load" times below the boxes for comments and the story text. These should update roughly every few seconds. If these times stop updating, it's likely that something went wrong. This is an indication that you should releod the page.

You must click "Submit" in order to send in your comment. Hitting "return" or "enter" won't work.

Only PG-13 comments or less will be incorporated.

The "pause" option, when paused, stops fetching new text of the novel. This might prove handy if you leave the computer for a while and need to catch up.

By default, the novel screen jumps to the very bottom of the text each time it updates. This allows you to follow along with the newest text without the need to scroll on your own. However, if you get behind, this can become bothersome. The "Autoscroll" option stops this behavior so that you can scroll up and read text (perhaps useful if you find yourself stepping away from the computer for a few minutes).
