PART 1 - January 2003

We (Chance and Zoraya) stole a map, decided to follow the map, for adventure. Decide to hire someone as and “escort”. A week in town, Dral’s name comes up. A half dragon is on the run, needs money, and hears a rumor of dwarven stronghold ruined in an orcish raid and hears of weapons that may still exist. She waits to see the adventurers come through, and will tag along with them. Green Frost goes over the ice for fur trade, heading to the area Vassa and we all end up in Hulburg.
Chance and Zoraya recruit Dral to come with them from their home town. Wix is waiting and sees an interesting group, human, gnome, and elf. Kundrakai, is the secret dwarven stronghold (in stone tooth). We meet up in Hulburg and mentioned stone tooth and the bar goes quiet. Durgaden the black (the smith) tells us of the war between the Orcs and the dwarves and more importantly the treasure in the deepest vaults. The entrance is three days from here in the forest we decide to meet three days hence. We head out towards stone tooth and on the second day we find orc tracks. The second night we set watches.

We fight orcs. Chance kills one, and the remainder approach and attack. Wix casts Ray of Frost. Zoraya shoots and misses, Dral misses, Chance misses Green Frost wakes and casts daze, but orc saves. Orcs go. One attacks Chance, Wix, and Dral. Miss, miss, miss. Wix pokes orc with Trident and skewers him good. Zoraya attacks the one on Chance. Dral runs to protect and flank with Zoraya and kills it good. Chance misses. Green Frost throws javelin. Wix threatens the orc. Zoraya hits running Orc. Dral picks up the javelin and throws it. Chance misses. Green returns to sleep. The orc runs and Wix takes a pinky from the one she killed. "Do we give chase?" Zoraya runs after it shoots and misses. Dral runs up and throws javelin. Chance runs, shoots and misses. Orc gets away. No more attacks.

The next morning we follow the orc's track north, but lose them. We see smoke coming up from behind the mountain stone tooth in a clearing leading to a path. We sleep close for warmth with no fire. We make camp. Zoraya sees a weird bunny and Chance sees a strange tree. On watch they start talking and get ready to attack, morphs. Dral runs and attacks. Chance shoots and hits, but no damage. Wix tries to chill touch, but fails. Zoraya misses with her dagger. Dral disintegrates one. Green Frost casts cold orb attack, misses. Chance charges, and misses. It stings Wix, Wix hits it with chill touch. Zoraya hits it with the rapier, but doesn't do well. Dral charges and hits it. Green Frost misses and Chance misses and it moves 5 feet and uses a spell like ability. Zoraya misses her will save, and is not going to allow Dral to get near it. Wix advances with claw attacks. Zoraya grapples Dral and misses Dral says "I’ll hug you later" Dral hits the creature, and it proves.
