For Sunday March 27,
2005
Listen for phrases. Everyone should bring in 3 or 4 phrases to be used
in a class exercise. Short, simple sentences will work best. See what you
overhear that catches your interest, and jot it down.
On-going
look for games you'd like to play in class
Past Assignments
- Try to attend the mask workshop.
- Think about different relationships (teacher/child;
boss/employee;
cop/robber). Who normally holds the status in the relationship? Why?
- Think about people you know that seem to have a higher or
lower social
status than you do. What makes you different from them?
- Choose three emotions off of one of the lists below.
You
will work with one of them for the duration of Sunday's class.
- watch people expressions, how different people express
the
same emotion; look at people's exressions - can you tell what emotion
they are feeling, or hiding?
- take a next couple of days to observe people and animals
