Shepard's Pie
 
 
1-1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
15-30 oz whole kernel corn* (drained)
6 servings instant mashed potatoes
about 16 slices of mozzarella or cheddar cheese (optional)


Preheat oven to 350. Brown ground beef. Drain. Place ground beef in bottom of 9x9x 1 1/2 inch pan. Pour drained corn over beef. Set aside. Prepare mashed potatoes following directions on box. Spread potatoes over corn. Put cheese slices on top of potatoes. Place in oven until cheese melts. About 10 - 15 minutes.
*Peas can be used instead of corn
