Jealous Heir  (beautify; domino; quail; tickle)

Written at Writers Exchange 3/9/95

The anchovies on my pizza tickle my throat on the way down
“That’s the last time I order from that place”
I think to myself
A quail sends it’s own sweet song outside
As I decide to beautify my cousin’s new ivory domino set,
Which her uncle willed to her when he didn’t see fit to leave me crap
To beautify it with the last slice of pizza (anchovies and eggplant) and last chug of curdled milk
Which refused to stay down
