On your Mark  (derogatory; flash; inform; start)

On your mark (ouch, get off, you’re wearing cleats you fool)
Ok, off your mark (thanks, sighs)
Get set (quick the table needs to be nice for the company, candles and napkins too)
Start (Isn’t that supposed to be go?)
It’s a race (Social? Color? Human?)
Against a flash of white light (it’s called the sun you bozo)
A gun (oh)
It rings out (it was a cheap shot, yes, no?)
Excuse my punnery get thee to a nunnery (Hey, isn’t that Hamlet)
Thank you for informing me, I wouldn’t have known (No problem)
Listen, if you don’t like my poem, you and your derogatory comments can just leave (Hey, sure, didn’t mean to upset you)
Okay, where was I?
On your mark, get set….
