WRITINGS

The School Library  (barbarian; jingle; scintillating; ugly)

Conan the Barbarian
Is our librarian
Stamping books over-do
Just hope it wasn’t you
Who turned it in late, cause then it would get ugly

He uses small words
Like pretty and birds
Nothing like scintillating
Onomatopoeia or ventilating
‘Cause he’s just simple minded, but don’t try telling him that

When the crowd
Grows to loud
He makes his jingle bell ring
Just don’t try and touch that thing
Or he’ll bonk you hard over the head with it so you learn some discipline

Yes it’s come to an interesting time
In this poem I wrote, which rhymes
When school is run
With out any fun
And bomb threats are often called because,
Now don’t be appalled,
Someone dented a book
Or missed paying a fine
